If you’ve ever been an auto mechanic or worked on large machinery you know how important it is to have a quaility impact gun and deep impact sockets. You can buy cheap campbell hausefield impact socket sets at your local wal-mart or kmart to get started but if you plan on being a mechanic for very long I suggest you buy a muche better quality brand of tool. I personally only own Snap-on or MAC tools when it comes to my heavy duty impact tools. The problem with buying Snap-on, MAC or Matco tools is that they are extremely expensive compared to cheap tools made in china. The warranty alone makes the tools worth it in my opinion as every mechanic will eventually break a heavy duty impact socket. If your just starting out I suggest buying used impact sockets especially the larger sizes you cant buy in cheap sets. Below is a large listing of used impact socket sets and tools available on ebay
